What an amazing evening! On Tuesday night (25/06/19), I went to see Nick Cave's Conversations Tour at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham. A three hour long show with audience members asking Nick questions and Nick performing some of his songs on piano. I was the first person to ask him a question! I thanked him for inspiring me to play my piano again and for inspiring me to write. We talked about writing emotional pieces and he said I should 'carry on as you are doing'. I asked if I could give him some of my poems and he said yes and put them in his jacket pocket! Wow!
My husband also requested the penultimate song of the night 'O Children' and he played it. A totally mesmerizing night and one I will never forget. Thank you Nick Cave! P.s. Did you read the poems?
